recently i discovered a song from main hoon na.....CHAND MERA DIL....CHANDNI HO TUM.. WHICH IS SUNG BY OUR GOD KK
REMEMBER THE SCENE IN WHICH SHAHRUKH BEND DOWN ON HIS KNEES AND SINGS THE SONG IN FRONT OF SUSHMITA SEN......?????

Yes, I've heard it, and Jaane Jaan from the same movie (where Shahrukh is looking for his brother and doesn't know it's Zayed) is also by KK along with Abhijeet. Am planning to get the DVD of Main Hoon Na after the exams so I can get the tracks on my computer.

THE tadap tadap ke...

and even Mujhhe kuchh kehna hai title track!

both of them make good sad-ish songs by KK.

KKs greatest and oldest songs were yaaron, pal ,yeh tanhaai, tadap tadap ke,sach keh raha hai deewana ,awarapan banjarapan,tu ashiqui hai,o hum dum soniyo ,bandah ye bindaas hai,bardasht nahi kar sakta,jeena kya,and many others.
These songs got kk into limelight and during this period kk had just entered the industry and was still struggling to establish as a great singer .so each of these songs must have been special 4 him as it was because of these songs that kk started becoming famous.
All these songs were huge block buster hits and are my old favorites.KK is the best and i just simply love him.

It's sort of hard to put into words how it feels when I chance upon tracks like Chhod Aaye Hum, Tadap Tadap Ke (was it him? He sounded so radically different), Sach Keh Raha hai Deewana, O Makhna Ve, Door Se Paas, Dus Bahaane, Ae Bekhabar.... like unexpected gifts lying about.
Only you don't know that they had already been gifts. And each time you come across any of them, it's as if some part of you grins discreetly, maybe, say, some obscure corner of your memory. Deep. Hidden snug beneath the folds of the very fact of it. That these songs were loved. And will be. Forever. Old favourites.
It's just the word my memory can't get at: old. Hoovering doesn't seem to help.
